 A comida típica Maria Isabel, que é feita com arroz e carne de sol, foi aprovada pela Assembleia Legislativa do Piauí como Patrimônio Histórico Cultural do Piauí. A matéria aprovada por unanimidade segue para sanção do governador Rafael Fonteles.
